Twin Sisters in RMNP
I did Twin Sisters in RMNP yesterday morning, February 12, 2023. It was a 7.1 mile out and back with 2,416 feet of ascent, maxing out at 11,356 feet. Strong winds scoured the summit of snow and brought the wind chill to close to zero. Near the top, there were two very short glissading spots,
The Loch in RMNP
The Loch is a short hike to a breathtaking alpine lake which I did on the morning of February 2, 2023. The park had about 12” of new snow a few days previously. I started with microspikes. Watch the video to see me struggling up the last section before the lake. I post-holed several times
