Cinnamon Toast Cookies
Buttery-sweet like cinnamon toast in the snackable size of a crouton using white bread in a mixture of melted butter, sugar and cinnamon.
Equipment
- 1 Small bowl
- 1 Large bowl
- 1 Parchment paper
- 1 Sheet pan
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Cinnamon
- 6 Tbsp Unsalted, melted butter
- 6 slices Bread, crusts removed and cut into 1-inch squares
Instructions
- Heat the oven to 350 degrees.
- in a small bowl, stir together the sugar, cinnamon and salt. Stir the cinnamon sugar into the butter.1/4 cup Sugar, 1 Tbsp Cinnamon, 6 Tbsp Unsalted, melted butter
- Place the bread in a large bowl. Slowly stream in the butter while gently tossing. Continue to toss until evenly coated.6 slices Bread, crusts removed and cut into 1-inch squares
- Arrange the bread in a single layer on a parchment-lined sheet pan. Bake until crisp and firm to the touch, 15 to 20 minutes.
- Optional: Make another tablespoon of cinnamon sugar to sprinkle on top.
