Tuna Melt Sandwich
A Tuna Melt Sandwich is hot, crispy, cheesy, and filling! This simple recipe is perfect for an easy lunch or dinner.

- 1 Medium bowl
- 1 12" skillet
Ingredients
- 1 ea Small red onion, diced
- 1 stalk Celery, diced
- 1/2 cup Mayonaise
- 1/4 cup Parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 10 oz Tuna
- 1 ea Tomato, sliced
- 1/2 lb Sharp cheddar cheese, sliced
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 8 slices Sourdough bread
Instructions
- In a medium-sized bowl combine the tuna, mayonnaise, celery, red onion, dijon mustard, and parsley. Add salt and pepper to taste.1 ea Small red onion, diced, 1 stalk Celery, diced, 1/2 cup Mayonaise, 1/4 cup Parsley, finely chopped, 1 tsp Dijon mustard, 10 oz Tuna
- Preheat the skillet to medium heat.
- Butter each slice of bread. Putting the butter side down. Then add the cheese on the unbuttered side1/2 lb Sharp cheddar cheese, sliced, 2 Tbsp Butter, 8 slices Sourdough bread
- Add the tuna mixture on top. Top with tomato.1 ea Tomato, sliced
- Add the sandwich to the skillet and heat for about 2-3 minutes until the cheese starts to melt and is golden brown. Flip to the other side and cook until the cheese is fully melted then the sandwich is golden brown.
